The education and learning landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is at the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school product is not the only helpful means of studying. CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Section for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their range of courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses begin at NCV level two plus the bare minimum necessity would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

As soon as the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade 11 and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, being comparable to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

On which type of students are fitted to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that common education just isn't necessarily the only technique for getting to be an artisan or getting to be competent so if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is in fact perfectly fitted to that student.
